Hollywood Gossip | Hot or Not: Ali Larter

In many cases, when you're talking about a Hollywood Hottie who's gone and gotten herself knocked up, one might be inclined to remark that another one has bitten the dust. But factoring in that this week's Hot or Not selection has been kicking around for more than a decade and doesn't come off as the kind of gal to get derailed by that thing called motherhood and you can reassure yourself that she's more of a MILF to be than anything else.

There's something about Ali Larter that most chicks should innately hate. She's tall, she's blonde, she's fit. But there's also something to her which makes her infinitely more likable to women that most of her genetic code. Even though she was the head cheerleader who tried to seduce Dawson with that infamous whipped cream bikini in VARSITY BLUES, Larter has always had more of an "everyday gal" appeal which plays very well to women, evidenced better in later roles like FINAL DESTINATION.

The body isn't one that I envy, even though I can understand what the fuss is about for those who prefer the more petite and sporty frames. Larter doesn't have that skinny chick look which screams "FEED ME!" but rather that jealousy-inducing "I'm just skinny like this naturally" body that seems like a genetic anomaly. It's not the kind of body that convinced me that her lame "Heroes" character could have kicked all that ass, even if she was demonically possessed or whatever the hell Jessica was supposed to be. Still, I can understand and even kind of appreciate its appeal.

While Larter can be a little Bucky the Rabbit in the face department - just my personal opinion - I don't really see that there's anything wrong with that which might take away from her beauty. In fact, it's the flaws in her face which give it the character to make her better than the average pretty, skinny blonde girl. Larter has always had enough of whatever the "oomph" was required in her roles to make her believable, so I'm on Team Ali in that regard as well. I say that it's the package which makes Larter hot to me. But hey, that's just my take.
